Yugoslavia - Open World (1999)
Memories from the past. The end of the last millenium also in the Mail-Art network we witnessed how a war was taking place. I was in contact with mail-artists in all parts of Yugoslavia, and suddenly saw how the country split up. I never took sides, but always tried to keep communication open in the network. Croatia seperated, Serbia became a new country, and Novi Sad was hit badly in the war too.
Dobrica passed away several years ago. Anrej still is active in the network. Open World was the magazine that Dobrica sent out into the network. I helped him with this issue to spread the news when the war prevented the broader communication.
