Understanding this Blog

 You might wonder what this blog is all about. Yet another list of fragmented information.  Maybe you are right, but also it is a new attempt to rebuild the old website of IUOMA dot ORG that has vanished since the beginning of this year. The old structure of a lineair website didn't work anymore. 

Blog's work a bit better since they are indexed and you can look for specific details through the index. Also images can easily be located in the overviews, and with the distribution of  small notes on social media the people know that this information is out there.

It is a slow process since a lot of digital information will slowly be added to this blog.  Blogger still is free and has no restictions, so that is a good start. Also no real advertising in the presentation. Hope they keep that up. 

The Mail-Art products are mostly analog. So to get the true feeling of mail-art you need the exchange of artifacts. That is no longer easy for a lot of us. Yet the exchange of digital information has become very easy althoygh keeping track of all the information is quite a problem these days.

Writing books is maybe the best way to keep an overview, but due to costs of paper and sedning books, the need for books had decreased too.
